This recipe comes from friend and fellow foodie Dreamer in Ontario at Recipezazz
It is uber easy- and you can spice it up any way you want. I added garlic powder and crushed chillies to mine to give it a little zip. Easy on the grill, easy off- just a few minutes and you have an instant side.

Barbecued Asparagus

  • Servings: 2-3
  • Difficulty: easy

Barbecued Asparagus


  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste


  1. Toss asparagus with oil and season to taste.
  2. Grill over hot coals  on an oiled grated until crisp-tender, 5-8 minutes, depending on spear thickness.
