Around this time of year I usually try to think about boosting the amount of vitamin C I eat or drink. One such way is the cranberry lemonade, which you can make easily with cranberry juice cocktail and fresh lemons.
Lemon is one of my favorite flavors. I am famous for having lemon always in my iced tea (and nothing else, no sugar or splenda or anything.) And as well, I love all the lemonade flavors that can be made as well as old-fashioned lemonade itself.
And while these can seem to be typical summer coolers (and they do cool), they also make excellent ades to drink during winter. Made best with fresh lemons, the best thing to do is buy lemons when you can while they are priced inexpensively or reduced but still in good shape, juice them, place the juice into ice cubes trays and freeze. Then you can just store fresh lemon juice cubes in freezer bags for months at a time, and always have paid the best price.
