Beef with broccoli is  my recipe of the day. It is one of the most popular stir-fry recipes available for Chinese take-out in the United States. Made simply with New York strip sirloin steak, broccoli and a basic brown sauce, it is a very easy meal to put together.

Beef with Broccoli

This recipe is a favorite of mine because of how easy it is to make. Once you have your steak in the marinade, you can cut your broccoli up early, and stir up your sauce and keep those in the fridge. As well, you can steam up your rice early in the day and just reheat that for the meal.

There is enough sauce that you can add some extra meat or vegetables if you like. Other meats, such as chicken breast or shrimp, can be substituted or added as well.

Feel free to use different types of vegetables you might have in your bin. This can also make a great clean out the fridge meal.

  1. What a delicious looking recipe. I love beef but it can be pricey. Using 2 steaks to feed four people will definitely keep the cost down. Thanks for sharing such a yummy, healthy recipe. Pinned! Sammie 😀
