Candy Corn Pizza

Candy Corn Pizza isn’t a dessert – it’s savory pepperoni pizza with the look of candy corn and is a fun treat for kids of all ages.

I have to admit that the concept of this is much more of an idea than an actual recipe. But I like the idea of having a fun recipe that kids can help put together that looks for all intents and purposes, a bit like Halloween candy corn when sliced.

So for National Pizza Month and #SundaySupper, I think it is a great and fun idea for Halloween parties as well as kids sleepovers. I do include one of my simple recipes for no-cook pizza sauce. I use something like this many times when I make a New York  style pizza, although with that one I try to keep it slightly chunky. Either way, chunky or smooth is fine with this. I also do not include a pizza dough recipe in this since it is more of a concept recipe that you can use with any crust, whether you have a favorite recipe, like to use something like bagged or frozen dough or canned tubes of dough or even the ones like Boboli. Whatever you like in that regard works fine with this. I want to keep it simple for the kids. I hope you enjoy! Until next time-

  1. This is perhaps a stupid question but does the tomato sauce turn pink when you blend it? It seems like that happens sometimes when making salsa. Anyway, what a fun recipe! You have such a creative mind!

  2. saw this linked thecrumbykitchen, had to comment on such a wonderful pizza idea! Candy corn, love it, beautifully executed too, thank you!
