Snowman Poop Meringues are peppermint meringue cookies made especially for naughty children by industrious snowmen in Santa’s service.
Snowman Poop
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
Snowman poop. This actually happens at the North Pole. We down south down don’t hear much about it until The Jolly Old Elf himself runs out of coal, and then on particularly naughty years, his surplus supply of Reindeer poop also disappears, no matter how many cookies Mrs. Claus feeds them. So what is Old St. Nick to do when he is overrun by adorably naughty children?
Call Frosty, of course. Frosty always knows what to do.
And by the looks of these snowman poop cookies, children are actually going to work hard at being extra naughty, so if you make these, perhaps you shouldn’t tell them anything about it, but keep them all for yourself. It would, in fact, be the naughty thing to do, so I guess you would deserve it, right?
But if you are feeling particularly generous, you could give these all away, but being kind-hearted, that means you won’t be getting any. That is, until you have second thoughts a few weeks from now and make these when you really should be on that January diet. That’s naughty, too. 😉
But in the meantime, enjoy the recipe and all the other lovely food gifts the Sunday Supper Tastemakers have put together for you in this week’s collection.
And if you are giving these as gifts, pack them in food gift bags and print out the image I created as a tag. And I’ll see you tomorrow when I have my recipe for Gingerbread Muffins for #MuffinMonday and also try to squeeze in my Saturday recipe which I ran out of time for. Things have been busy this week! “It’s the way of things.” That was one of the ways Merlin the Magician used to explain the way of the world to King Arthur in the movie Excalibur (one of my favorite movies). But the holidays are always positively magical. ~Sue
