Air-Fryer Peri Peri Chicken WIngs

For wings:

  • 1-1/4 pounds chicken wing sections about 12 pieces
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon each salt and black pepper

Nando's Style Peri Peri Sauce (makes 2/3 cup):

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Louisiana cayenne pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons ground peri peri pepper
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • Mix together peri peri wing sauce and set aside.
  • Season wing sections with salt and pepper, then dredge in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
  • Place wings on mesh tray and airfry/bake at convection at 390F for 35-40 minutes, turning every ten minutes or so, or until chicken is browned and crispy.
  • Toss wings in sauce and serve.
