Triple Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup cooled melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso granules
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • sifted powdered sugar for the top

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients separately, then combine.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour into a ten cup Bundt pan that has been sprayed with Baker's release spray or well greased.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick tests clean of wet batter.
  • Cool in pan ten minutes, then turn out and finish cooling on a wire rack.
  • When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
