Honey Roasted Figs
any type (I used white tiger figs, which are light green in color)
soft goat cheese
dozen rainforest or other fruit and nut crackers
Preheat oven to 425F.
Line a small baking tray with nonstick foil.
Trim ends of figs and slice in half; place cut side up on the baking sheet.
Stir together the butter and lemon and drizzle over.
Then drizzle with honey, enough to give them good coverage. Doesn't need to be exact.
Roast for thirty minutes.
Serve warm on crackers with soft goat cheese and a little of the honey juice drizzled over if it hasn't thickened too much.
