Ingredients
  

  • 750 mL. bottle white moscato wine
  • 12 ounces pear nectar (or pear juice)
  • 2 tablespoons Calvados (or brandy)
  • 2 (4-inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • sliced ripe pear (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Stir together ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • Cover and heat on high for one hour or until hot.
  • Serve warm or hot.
