Ingredients
  

  • 3-1/2 pounds beef oxtails
  • salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 large onions (sliced)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon habanero pepper hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 ounce packet onion soup mix

Instructions
 

  • Season oxtails with salt and pepper and brown in 2 tablespoons oil.
  • Place oxtails in the bottom of the crock with the onions.
  • Stir together the remaining ingredients and pour over the top.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
