Eggnog Brandy Alexander

  • 1 ounce cognac or other brandy
  • 1 ounce dark crème de cacao or other chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce eggnog
  • superfine sugar and nutmeg to coat glass rim
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • pinch nutmeg


  • Shake together cognac, creme de cacao eggnog and ice in a cocktail shaker.
  • Strain drink into a martini glass or coupe glass in which the rim is moistened and coated with superfine sugar and nutmeg.
  • Garnish with additional nutmeg if desired.
