Adobo Sauce:

dried guajillo chiles
about 16-18, toasted, stems and seeds removed

hot water

teaspoon
ground cumin
Slow Cooker Chili:

medium yellow onions
chopped

garlic cloves
chopped

beef carne picada
chopped (chuck roast or bottom round)

oil

teaspoon
black pepper

tablespoons
ground cumin
adobo sauce

Instructions
Soak chiles in hot water 30 minutes.
Drain off two cups of liquid and discard.
Puree the remaining 2 cups of liquid with the chiles, and add in remaining ingredients for adobo sauce.
Brown meat, onions and garlic.
Add remaining ingredients and cook 8-10 hours on low.
