  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1 pound cooked egg noodles (cooked weight, not raw weight)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup roasted garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter


  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Butter or spray a nonstick round casserole or oven-safe skillet.
  • Saute the onions with salt, pepper and caraway in the unsalted butter until soft.
  • Toss onions with remaining ingredients (except melted butter and paprika) in a mixing bowl and add to baking dish.
  • Drizzle with the melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden on top.
