Tomato Soup Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Winter tomato soup (half recipe, see recipe link above)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hickory flavored liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until mixture becomes thick and reduces to 2-1/2 cups (20 fluid ounces).
  • Use as desired on your favorite barbecue.
