Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2-3/4 cups cake flour

Other:

  • Sifted powdered sugar (as needed)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Mix together cookie dough ingredients until smooth.
  • Take one tablespoon dough per cookie and roll into a ball.
  • Place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet, one dozen cookies per sheet.
  • Flatten cookies lightly with a fork.
  • Bake for 8 minutes.
  • Roll cookies gently in sifted powdered sugar while still warm, lightly scrape off any clumps.
