Ingredients
  

Tuna Mix: (Yield 1-1/2 cups)

  • 10 ounces canned tuna drained
  • 1/4 cup minced dill pickle
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried chives
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar

Sandwich details:

  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 3/4 cup crushed ripple potato chips
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter

Instructions
 

  • Stir together tuna mix and set aside.
  • Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter.
  • Sandwich with cheese, crushed chips and half cup filling.
  • Griddle on the stovetop in an appropriate pan over med-low heat until golden on both sides.
