Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4-1/2 ounces dried chipped beef (1 jar Armour dried beef, chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 6 slices toast or biscuits

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter in a skillet and add flour, stirring until well mixed.
  • Cook for a minute or two to cook out raw flour flavor.
  • Add black pepper and Cajun seasoning along with cold milk all at once.
  • Stir until mixture begins to boil (over low heat).
  • Add beef and allow to boil one minute and thicken.
  • Serve gravy mixture over toast points (cut diagonally in half) or biscuits, as you prefer.
