Chipped Beef on Toast

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4-1/2 ounces dried chipped beef (1 jar Armour dried beef, chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 6 slices toast or biscuits
Heat butter in a skillet and add flour, stirring until well mixed.
Cook for a minute or two to cook out raw flour flavor.
Add black pepper and Cajun seasoning along with cold milk all at once.
Stir until mixture begins to boil (over low heat).
Add beef and allow to boil one minute and thicken.
Serve gravy mixture over toast points (cut diagonally in half) or biscuits, as you prefer.
