brown sugar

grated ginger root
Instructions
Heat oil in a deep skillet and saute the onions and peppers until limp; stir in the chicken chunks and cook until browned.
Add the tomato puree, jalapenos, lemon juice, tandoori spice, ground coriander, cumin, salt. pepper, brown sugar, ginger and water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
Serve with hot rice.
