Calvados
(or brandy)

(4-inch) cinnamon sticks

star anise

whole cloves

brown sugar

vanilla
sliced ripe pear
(optional garnish)
Instructions
Stir together ingredients in a slow cooker.
Cover and heat on high for one hour or until hot.
Serve warm or hot.
