Instructions
Whisk ingredients for the sauce together in a saucepan and simmer for 15-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is as thick as you like it.
To make the weenies, heat a tablespoon of butter in a skillet and add franks, smokies or meatballs. Stir and cook for a few minutes (this lets the franks plump up).
Add sauce and stir. Simmer, covered for another 15 minutes or so.
