Beef Sticks:

beef chuck boneless short ribs

scallion
chopped diagonally

tablespoons
toasted sesame oil
Marinade and Baste:
1/4
cup
pineapple juice
1/4
cup
shoyu or soy sauce
1-1/2
teaspoons
mirin
1/2
teaspoon
fresh lemon juice

tablespoons
brown sugar

teaspoons
ginger paste
1
teaspoon
garlic paste
1/2
teaspoon
toasted sesame oil

teaspoons
toasted sesame seeds
1-1/2
teaspoons
cornstarch
Instructions
Slice beef about 1/8" thick into slices.
Whisk together marinade.
Marinate beef overnight. Worry about the scallion and sesame oil later.
Drain beef, reserving marinade.
Place beef on skewers.
Brush with sesame oil.
Oil grill grate and cook over hot coals until charred and cooked to your liking.
Slice scallion and sprinkle as a garnish.
