granulated sugar

baking soda

baking powder

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Grease an 8-inch cast iron skillet, enameled baking pan or cake pan.
Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan and add bulgur.
Cook for 6 minutes, then remove from heat and drain in a strainer.
Stir together the flours, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Add the drained cooked bulgur and stir until the flour coats it evenly.
Add buttermilk and mix into a shaggy dough.
Shape into a ball and drop into the greased pan; slice an "x" across the top with a serrated knife.
Bake for 70-75 minutes or until the internal temperature is 185F.
Serve slices with butter and honey, treacle/molasses or golden syrup.
