Ingredients

(about 1-1/2 cups)

baking soda

teaspoon
salt

whole buttermilk
Instructions
Stir together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Gradually mix the buttermilk into the flour.
Knead gently for a few minutes on a lightly floured surface, then pat into a disk 1/2" thick.
Cut dough into quarters with a floured bread knife.
Lightly oil a griddle or skillet as you would if you were making pancakes.
Add dough pieces to pan and cook about 5-7 minutes each side or until golden.
