maple sugar

maple syrup

baking soda

all-purpose flour
Coarse crystal sugars
I used both white and multicolor
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Add egg, vanilla extract and maple syrup, continuing to mix in.
Gradually add the salt, baking soda and flour.
Scoop using a one tablespoon cookie scoop, then roll dough in hands into a ball.
Roll around in sprinkles then place on a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet.
Use a smooth glass to flatten cookies to about a quarter inch.
Bake ten minutes; allow cookies to cool on the pan.
