Ingredients

Casserole Base:
2
pounds
chopped green cabbage
1
large onion
(sliced)
salt and black pepper

canned cream of onion condensed soup

cup
mayonnaise
2
teaspoons
minced garlic
Crunchy Topping:
4
ounces
shredded cheddar cheese
3
ounces
Ritz cracker
(crushed into crumbs; 2 short sleeves)

cooked bacon
(crumbled)

melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Toss together cabbage, onions, salt and black pepper and place in the bottom of a rectangular 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Stir together the condensed soup and mayonnaise and spread over the cabbage as best as you can.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
In a small mixing bowl, toss together the cheese, cracker crumbs, bacon, and melted butter.
Remove foil cover from casserole and sprinkle on the topping.
Bake for another 30-40 minutes or until topping is golden and cabbage is tender.
