brown sugar

baking cocoa

teaspoon
instant espresso powder

teaspoon

(lightly beaten)

chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Fit pie crust into pie pan and flute edges; line with parchment and pastry weights or dried beans; par-bake the crust 15 minutes then allow to cool.
Place chocolate chips in a heatproof mixing bowl. Melt butter and pour over the chocolate chips while very hot.
Whisk chips until melted.
Add remaining ingredients except pecans and mix until smooth.
Fold pecans into mixture and then spread into the pie crust.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until mostly set.
Allow to cool completely. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
