Ingredients
  

  • 20 ounces chuck eye steak chopped

Beef Marinade:

  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Veggies:

  • 4 ounces broccoli florets
  • 1 large onion cut into wedges
  • 1 green pepper sliced
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons mirin
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Cut beef about bite-sized chunks.
  • Whisk together marinade.
  • Marinate beef overnight. Drain beef, reserving marinade.
  • Mix sauce ingredients adding reserved marinade.
  • Heat two tablespoons peanut oil in a wok and stir fry beef and vegetables until done, then stirring in sauce and cooking until slightly thickened.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
