Whisk eggs with the little bit of milk and maple syrup.
On each slice of bread, place a slice of cheese topped with a sausage.
Roll up the bread, trimming the cheese if it is long and comes out of the end. You want the egg to be able to stick and I noticed on my cheese one side was longer than the bread but the other just right.
Dip the rolls in the egg batter. Press the end of the dipped bread down to seal.
Then place seam side on a griddle lightly oiled or sprayed with nonstick and heated.
Roll the French toast as it browns until all sides are golden.
Serve with maple syrup to dip in or whatever type syrup you prefer.
