Prepare bourbon sauce by whisking together ingredients in a small saucepan until it comes to a boil.
Cook sauce about one minute or until thickened. Set aside until needed.
Pat wings dry and season with salt and pepper.
Toss wings with cornstarch evenly then drizzle with oil and toss again.
Place wings on the rack of a preheated air fryer and cook at 400-450 (depending on your model) for about 25-30 minutes, or until browned and crisp, turning 2-3 times during the cooking process.
Toss wings with sauce and serve hot. The full amount results in nicely saucy wings, but you can probably adequately coat two orders of wings if used more sparingly.
