Creamy Onion Green Bean Casserole

  • 1 oblong or oval casserole dish

Ingredients
  

  • 3 14-1/2 ounce cans cut green beans drained (43-1/2 ounces total undrained weight)
  • 1 ounce packet onion soup mix
  • 1-1/4 cups whole milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 cups canned French fried onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Spray an oval or oblong casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  • Whisk together the onion soup mix, milk and cream cheese until smooth.
  • Stir in the drained green beans.
  • Place mixture in the greased casserole dish.
  • Cover dish with foil.
  • Bake the casserole for 30 minutes then remove the foil.
  • Sprinkle top with the French fried onions and bake uncovered for 5 minutes more.
