Burger Ingredients:

ground ham or ground spam

Kona Coast Island Teriyaki teriyaki sauce or homemade

tablespoon
sambal chili paste
for spicy
Additional Ingredients:
2-4
Hawaiian sandwich rolls
1
red onion
sliced
1
fresh pineapple
peeled, cored and sliced (you'll have some extra)

tablespoons
brown sugar
2-4
slices
Swiss cheese
1/2
cup
additional teriyaki sauce
Instructions
Mix ingredients for burgers thoroughly and shape into burger patties, pressing a divot into the center of each.
Grill onions on a grill sheet until caramelized.
Grill pineapple slices sprinkled with a little bit of brown sugar until browned.
Grill burger patties until cooked as well as you like them, basting with teriyaki sauce.
Build burgers on buns with melted Swiss cheese, a pineapple slice and some of the onion.
