Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3.6 ounces diced hi-temp cheese 3/4 cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 toasted sandwich buns
  • assorted burger toppings lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle

Instructions
 

  • Mix seasonings into beef.
  • Divide beef into six portions and pat out into thin patties.
  • Place 1/4 cup hi-temp cheese on top of each of three patties.
  • Place remaining patties on those and pinch edges to seal.
  • Cook to desired doneness or 165F in the center, without pressing down on the patties while cooking.
  • Serve on toasted buns with your choice of toppings.
