canned sauerkraut
drained, juice reserved

shredded green cabbage

Spicy V-8 juice

tomato sauce

paprika

Instructions
Brown and crumble bratwurst with onions in a skillet until cooked through.
Place a liner in the bottom of the crockpot. Layer half the potato slices across the bottom, then top with half the sauerkraut and repeat.
Pour the browned meat and onions over that.
Top with shredded cabbage.
Whisk together the reserved kraut juice with the V-8 juice, tomato sauce, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper. Pour this over all.
Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours, stirring at the end to test the potatoes (done when potatoes are tender.)
