Turkey and Cranberry Reuben Sandwich

Ingredients
  

Seasoned Kraut:

  • 8 ounce can kraut rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Sandwich Ingredients:

  • 4- inch sub roll or French bread
  • 2 tablespoons jellied cranberry sauce mashed with a fork
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 ounce sliced Swiss cheese
  • 3 ounces sliced roast turkey
  • 3 tablespoons of the kraut mix

Instructions
 

  • Cook the kraut in butter and orange juice until it is fairly dry.
  • Layer sandwich ingredients between the French bread, then press in a grill pan over med-low heat until toasted and crisp.
