Japanese Steakhouse Ginger Miso Dressing is my recipe  of the day for the Summer Games blogging week. The Olympics will be going on! And I will be sharing some Japanese steakhouse recipes in honor of the host country, Japan.

Japanese Recipes All Week Long

Monday I posted my recipe for Hibachi  chicken with ginger-soy dipping  sauce from scratch. It’s great for an easy supper to grill  on a hot summer day. And it also makes a great appetizer.

But today I am  sharing my recipe for a Japanese  steakhouse style ginger  miso dressing. This is the classic that starts off  every meal  at a Japanese restaurant.

Simple and Delicious

The salad is very simple with iceberg lettuce and shredded fresh carrots. But sometimes I also  like to dress it up with some  sliced toasted almonds.

At one  time,  when I was religiously doing low carb, I would have this as a ritual before lunch every single day. I never got tired of it. And still don’t, although I do like making many different kinds of salad dressings.

More Recipes on Friday

Join me again on Friday when I share my recipe for Teriyaki chicken- we’ll be grilling  up some  wings.  Just  in time  for the start of the summer games.

And keep those in  mind when football season starts next month. Wings are the perfect gameday eats. And  there  is no law that  says you have to have those Buffalo hot every  single time.
