Palatable Pastime’s Best Dessert Recipes of 2018
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
The year-end recipe countdown continues! And for today the sharing is for the most popular dessert recipes of 2018.
First up, topping all the dessert recipes of the year is my sugar cookie cheese cake. As you can see, it was the bomb. Everyone who ate it loved it.
This cake I made after sampling one at a local Nothing Bundt Cakes shop and it tasted just divine. This cake turned out divine as well, very moist cake and the icing was top notch. I can see you guys love lemon cake too!
This was my first attempt at doing a marbled Bundt cake- not sure why I had not done one before. I wanted to give it a very dark chocolate feel, so used the black cocoa on it, as well as a little spice. My friends went nuts eating this. They loved it.
This is a Bundt version of my Italian Cream cake. It’s one of those sinfully guilty pleasures I liked to get at Italian restaurants but worked out my own version a few years back. I love the nuts in it. But then I love cakes with nuts.
I had seen Halloween pizzas being done on the internet, and this is my version. It’s great for the kids, and very easy to put together, especially for a party.
This is my version of the Mary Berry Cherry cake seen on the Great British Bake-Off. I love that show. And this is wildly popular on the blog- the people from the show loved it too as they sent me an email wanting me to be a contestant. Unfortunately, I don’t have much of a British accent, and I doubt they want Yanks from this side of the pond taking over.
