We group together twice a month to cover recipes for each corresponding letter. This week we are on the letter “D”. Glad you could join us!
I will post recipes for making the sauce from scratch, along with potato salad. The sauce is mustard and mayo based. And it goes well with potato salad, deviled eggs, on sandwiches such as sliced turkey. Not to mention as a smear for meats such as roast pork. Or even tossed with something such as grilled asparagus. It is very versatile.

This is the first I have heard of Durkees but OH MY YUM!!!
I feel like I’ve been living underneath of a rock…I had to research this sauce to read about what it actually is. And, it sounds FANTASTIC! Thanks for sharing the recipe, I’m excited to give it a try! – Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck – Colleen
Durkee’s Famous Sauce sounds really good. So versatile and easy to make. We love potato salads so definitely will be giving this recipe a try.
I’m not familiar with Durkee’s but this sauce sounds amazing. Plus, egg salad and potato salad are two of my faves.
My stepfather loved Durkee’s but as a kid, it was not my cup of tea. Looking at the ingredient list, I’m pretty sure I’d like it now, Sue. I’ll have to whip up a batch, you know, for research, just to make certain.
The sauce sounds yum! I am trying this recipe asap.
