For today’s recipe I decided to use some store-bought refrigerated puff pastry to make a delicious strawberry breakfast treat. This is the kind of pastry that you simply unroll, cut to size/shape, and bake.

I also used strawberry flavored cream cheese for convenience. So this really is an easy-to-make breakfast pastry. And one that is quite delicious!

I used a generous amount of cream cheese to fill these for a nice ratio of crispy pastry to filling. Then finished them by topping with slice of fresh strawberries and a light drizzle of cookie icing.

We thoroughly enjoyed these. The pastry was flaky and buttery tasting, and the double shot of strawberry flavor was a treat. I hope you like them as much as we did!
