My recipe offering is for blue cheese dressing. I wanted a dressing with both good flavor and good consistency that lasts overnight.

So I made this dressing and found it retained thickness for up to a week without turning into milk. I might have had minimal stirring. But not like other recipes I have used. And considering if I don’t use much when I first make it, of course I want it to stay usable. I have made dressings using sour cream that nothing would bring them back from destruction if they sat overnight.

Yogurt seems to be the magic trick here. It has worked wonderfully for me so far. I can use it on a wedge salad. Save it and use it for Buffalo chicken wing dip the next night. And if I have any left, make another salad a few days later and have it again. I could and I would because blue cheese dressing is my favorite dressing.

I hope you love this as much as I do! And don’t forget to check out some of the other dressing recipes offered below.
