Palatable Pastime’s Most Popular Recipes 2013-2018
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
The best and most popular recipes from 2013-2018 are the round-up of recipes for today in the Countdown to 2019.
Old-Fashioned Bread and Celery Dressing or Stuffing
This is the way I have been making stuffing since as long as I can remember- I was literally helping my mom make this the night before Thanksgiving when I was a little kid. Many people make their stuffing quite the same way.
Spider Web Taco Dip
This is my top Halloween recipe overall. I make a good guacamole and everything in this tastes right and as you would expect. Try not to let it sit too long before making, as avocado does oxidize. Or you could sub a store-bought guack made with antioxidants to have more time refrigerated.
Sugar Cookie Cheesecake
Quickly rising up the ranks is my Sugar Cookie Cheesecake, new this year, which is the bomb. You may have seen this already in the desserts collection. Isn’t it gorgeous? To me it is what I would want instead of a usual birthday cake.
Easy Lemon Parmesan Baked Salmon
This is my favorite way to make salmon- cooks quickly, has simple but delicious flavors, and is quite a breeze to get into the oven. As you can see I like this with asparagus, and also usually wild rice.
Detox Diet Soup
This is a very low cal soup which I like to keep on hand when dieting to have for lunch or as an emergency 3 o’clock snack when I find myself suddenly starving. It is very legit for just about any type of diet, and tastes good too.
Chicken Fried Steak (Country Fried)
This is my version of chicken friend steak with cream gravy. I think you’ll like it. I’m guessing you can figure out the mashed potatoes on your own, although I do have an Instant Pot recipe for those if you want.

I’m saving ALL of these recipes. For one, I have so many sprinkles on had that I MUST make the cheesecake!
That dressing certainly grabbed my attention!
The dressing looks amazing as does the spider web dip AND the cheesecake and chicken fried steak – it all looks so good! I definitely can see why they are the Most Popular 🙂
