Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter at room temp
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces Wilton Orange Creme Candy Melts chopped
  • 5 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup blanched slivered almonds chopped

To decorate:

  • 1 jar Wilton Rainbow Mix decorative cookie sprinkles
  • 1 bottle Wilton orange cookie icing
  • 1 bottle Wilton white cookie icing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Cream butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy; beat in the eggs, vanilla and orange extracts.
  • Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; add gradually to the butter mixture.
  • Fold in the chopped candy melts, white chocolate chips, and chopped almonds.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased or parchment lined baking sheets.
  • Bake at 350° for 12-14 minutes.
  • Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.
  • When cookies are completely cool, microwave cookie icings as directed to soften to a drizzling consistency.
  • Drizzle cookies and top with sprinkles while wet.
  • Allow cookies to set up and dry for 45 minutes to an hour before storing.
