Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Chops
Equipment
- Slow Cooker or Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 3 pounds thick bone-in rib pork chops (4 large)
- 14 ounces canned jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 cup bottled barbecue sauce
- 1 ounce envelope Lipton recipe secrets onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Mix together the cranberry and barbecue sauces with soup mix.
- Place in slow cooker with pork chops and turn chops to coat on all sides.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Strain cooking liquid; whisk in the cornstarch.
- Bring sauce to a boil, and boil one minute to thicken.
- Serve sauce over chops.

Sounds wonderful and using the slow cooker keeps the pork nice and juicy.
This is easy, fast, comfort food. The meat was tender. I made mashed potatoes to put the gravy over and it was perfect.
