Surf and Turf is perfect for meals such as birthdays, anniversaries, or Valentines Day. It is a special occasion meal and can be adjusted to suit your taste. So if you want shrimp instead of lobster, that’s great.

I used a small tail since I had a larger steak. But you can use this recipe with larger tails and other steaks.

I declined to do nutrition facts since it would be off from the amount of seasonings prepared. Also, if you change the steak size or type, that factors in as well.

I like grilling the lemons, not  just for the appearance, but for the way it softens the fruit and adds a touch  of  smoke to it. You will see me grill lemons on other seafood recipes as well.

Try not to cross-grill (grill your meat in the same spot on the grate as the seafood). It muddies the flavors and makes them unpleasant. There was a restaurant I went to one time and ordered bbq ribs. Sadly, I could taste grilled salmon all over them. I love ribs. I love salmon. But not together. Am I right? Same with steak and lobster.

Enjoy and let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
