Steakhouse Grilled Salmon  is  my  recipe of the day. It is  made  using my version of  Red Lobster’s grill seasoning.

I didn’t want to call this Red Lobster Salmon though- since  they make their fish various ways. And I didn’t want to confuse anyone.

How to make your  own seafood grill seasoning

But- the grill  seasoning can be used on all sorts of things, such as salmon, other types of fish, or incorporated into a seafood boil.

If you are hoping  for  a  seasoning that can be used on steaks and  chicken, hang tight. I will be posting the Longhorn Steakhouse seasoning very soon.

However, today  I have used this seasoning on salmon as it is one of our favorite seafoods to throw on the grill. It is easily made with a few simple spices from your pantry.

Should I remove the Skin from the Salmon?

Removing skin before  cooking is a valid question. But you  don’t have to worry about  it. The skin easily comes away at the bottom when the  fish is  done cooking.  Plus, leaving it on helps keep the fish moist and flavorful.

  1. These salmon recipes all look fantastic. My husband doesn’t care for salmon but perhaps one or more of these recipes will change his mind. If not, I’ll have more salmon to myself. He loses and I win!
