Savory Noodle Kugel is a baked noodle casserole flavored with sour cream, garlic and caraway, rather than the usual sweeter noodle kugels.

Savory Noodle Kugel is my recipe of the day with the blogging group From Our Dinner Table. We get together once per week to share recipes on various topics. This week we are sharing noodle recipes.
I decided to share my recipe for a savory noodle kugel, which is a type of noodle casserole often served at Jewish holidays.
I am not Jewish but decided to try my hand at one of these since they sounded delicious. And sometimes you can see them with cottage cheese added, but this one is without.
It is flavored with a lot of garlic and onion, with some sour cream. There is Dijon and caraway in the seasonings. Overall, I found it to be very tasty. I think it would go perfectly with pork, although those who follow Kosher are not going to agree, obviously.
You can serve it with what you like. It makes a great side dish.
