For my final post as part of Farmers’ Market Week I’m sharing Dolly Parton’s delicious coleslaw recipe.

This is chock-full of goodness from local farms – cabbage, carrots, onion and bell pepper. There’s no cooking involved, either. All of the work is in the prep. The rest is mixing up the dressing and tossing with the veggies. Then chill until serving.

You can serve this with a variety of main dishes as a salad. In particular, anything country, homestyle or Southern goes especially well with it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed all of the wonderful recipes we’ve shared this week. And be sure to support your local farmers’ markets!
