One secret to a delicious steak is in the making of a compound steak butter- to add a little bit of delicious flavor to an already perfect grilled steak.
Compound Steak Butter
By Sue Lau | Palatable Pastime
My recipe of the day is for compound steak butter just in time for Father’s Day! I know I have promised some people I would get this up this month and had not gotten around to it until now.
What is Compound Butter?
Compound butter is butter that has been infused with flavors. You may have had herb butter for your dinner rolls from time to time. This butter in particular is made for those who like to top their grilled steaks with a knob of butter, which adds tons of flavor.
Who Needs the Steak Sauce?
The flavors I have added to this one seem particularly suited to go on a steak- intense beef flavor, garlic, salt, lots of black pepper, and Worcestershire. Just like it is, I don’t need anything else on my steak, no A-1 or anything like that.
Treat Dad to Steak
So treat Dad to steak this Father’s Dad and let him enjoy himself at the table. I also have listed a few other steak recipes of mine, as well as included some links to offerings from some of my blogging friends.
