Ingredients

  • 1 pound tomatillos husked, cored and quartered
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 8 ounces taco sauce
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 4 ounces barbecue sauce
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until thick.
  • Brush onto smoked ribs or other barbecued meats of your choice.

yield 36 ounces sauce (4.5 cups)
