This is a quick and easy recipe for delicious and elegant bite-sized appetizers. I start with packaged phyllo cups. Then add goat cheese, figs, orange marmalade and a sprinkle of fresh rosemary. How easy is that?
The result is quite tasty. The flavors blend together beautifully. It’s got some crispy crunch from the phyllo cups and creamy smoothness from the cheese. The fig adds a little chewy bite. We gobbled these up lickety-split!
I think these would make for great little bite-sized appies at parties or gatherings. And they take very little time to put together and bake. So you won’t feel stressed out about your appetizer course at least.
Drop a comment and remember to rate if you try these. I think you’ll really enjoy them!

Fig Bites in Phyllo Cups
Equipment
- 1 baking pan
Ingredients
- 1.9 ounce box frozen phyllo mini shells 15 count; thawed
- 4.3 ounces soft goat cheese chevre
- 4 dried figs quartered
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade melted
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Place thawed phyllo shells on a small baking tray.
- Divide goat cheese among shells.
- Cut figs and place one fourth of each one into the goat cheese.
- Spoon a small amount of melted marmalade over the top (I melted the marmalade in the microwave until runny).
- Sprinkle with minced fresh rosemary either before or after baking (doing it after might preserve more of the green color, however less of the flavor will permeate. You decide.)
- Bake for twelve minutes.
- Allow to cool a few minutes before serving.

I love to have recipes like these. Easy and quick. Made with ingredients I usually have on hand. Especially in the summer months when we often have family and friends pop in on us.
I know what you mean. I didn’t have to grocery shop for anything in this as I had everything already,
I love a bite-sided treat! Great choice!
I always forget about those little phyllo cups. These sound just heavenly… and easy peasy!
I have never seen those phyllo cups. I will have to look. They would definitely make appetizer-making a cinch. The flavor profile on these look amazing, Sue.
These were fabulous! It was good to be sharing these with family or I’d have eaten the whole batch myself!
Perfect party appetizers!
This is something new to offer friends. I usually fill the little shells with lemon curd that I make in the microwave. Time to up my game! Thanks a bunch!
