Easy Stove Top Mac & Cheese is my recipe of the day with  the blogging group From Our Dinner Table. We get together on Sundays to post on various topics.

This week we are sharing our favorite recipes using five  ingredients or less. I chose my recipe for easy stove top  mac & cheese. It is super simple and quick to make.  And  you will find the taste so much better than boxed mix.

Made on top  of  the stove in a  regular saucepan,  you cook up your macaroni  and mix it with four other ingredients: cheese, butter, a touch of  mustard, and  some milk.

The  simplicity  and ease make this perfect  as a  side for  just about any supper meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups raw elbow macaroni (cooked and drained)
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in salted water and drain.
  • Melt butter in saucepan and whisk in the milk and dijon.
  • Add cheese and stir until melted.
  • Stir in drained pasta.
